Does somebody has experience with this camera, mainly for use on location?

I know it's a very well designed and extremely well built camera with a lot of possibilities, and I think it was primary designed for digital application but I would use it solely with film.

I can buy a used one equipped for film, with a Apo-Symmar 100mm and Mamiya roll filmback type I 6x7, which is basic to beging with, at a rather acceptable price (*).

And, if I mount a wide angle bellows, do I still need a recessed lens board for wide angle lenses like the Super-Angulon 47mm?

BTW, is there an evenly good alternative (and easy to find used in Europe)?

(*) To finance this I will have to sell my Linhof Kardan GT 4"x5", 4 lenses, very large (professional-) amount of accessories and 20 sheet holders, a really fully equipped set. But, I am still contemplating...
I don't like to shoot sheet film any more, for me it became too cumbersome to handle on the move, and roll film is much more practical (and less costly).

I have no exerience wit the M679, but I did spend some time looking for the ideal (for me) 6x9 view camera. I looked through a bunch including a Cambo SC-1, Galvin, Horseman VH, and a baby Technika. My two favorites are the Arca Swiss F-Classic 6x9 or the Linhof Technikardan 23S. I like them both, but shoot the Arca Swiss much more because the TK23S has no way to take Graflok 6x9 roll film holders, so I have to use expensive, hard to find Super Rollex holders for 6x9 technikas and I only have one in 6x9 (and a couple in 6x7).
