For Sale: Linhof Kardan M 4 x 5
For Sale is a very nice Linhof Kardan M 4 x 5 Monorail
The Kardan M is the same as the Kardan E (and similar to the current Kardan RE)
Linhof dated the camera as per the serial number - June 1990
This Kardan M is in excellent condition, the bellows are in good usable condition.
All movements are smooth and lock down solidly. Has sliding front focus and geared
rear focus. The Kardan is very well built with many of the pieces machined and the fit is excellent.
This camera is easy to set-up and use in the field or studio.
The profile rail has a dovetail groove on each side to allow the rail to slide directly onto
an Arca Swiss style quick release clamp. There is also an adjustable sliding brass tripod
plate at the bottom of the rail to mount directly on a tripod head.
Bellows draw: The maximum lens I could use was a 360mm that focused from infinity to
about 12 feet. The minimum focal length lens was a 75mm with a recessed lens board
and the standard bellows.
The GG back is a Graflock style international back that will take a variety of roll film holders
and accessories such as the Linhof right angle reflex viewfinder. You can also easily mount
a GG focus hood. Standard Linhof GG installed with frame lines for 4 x 5, 9 x 12 and 6 x 7.
Comes with a generic recessed Copal #1 lens board.
Price: $425.00 shipped in the Conus – PayPal accepted.
