I recently bought a Linhof 5x7 technika III from 1953
but it came with a loupe that I had never seen before

can any one tell me a bit more about this Loupe contraption ;-)
is feels like is is missing some sort of frame that keeps the cloth in shape ?

thanks for the effort
hope someone can tell me a bit more

They had a foam interior to keep it plumped away from the glass, the foam would have degraded by now, i debated getting one but figured the loupe would just break the gg
