line per milimeter and line directions

Is there anyone who knows a way or theory to analysis line directions in a photograph ? I can think only frequency analysis but dont know how to classify line directions ?

I think MTF softwares are able to analysis sagittal and tangential but is there a way to make files per one degree alignment of lines ?
