For those of you who indulge in the highly dubious/perfectly acceptable (depending on your view of such things) practice of producing limited edition prints, this (free) database application may be of use.

There are two versions available, one for MS Access, the other a standalone version for those without MS Access.

My images are printed in "editions" of three. Except for CMN PARKing, which was done as five. 36X48 5 11X17 and 10 16X20
The negatives are then destroyed!

You can still get a Weston print done from the negatives by a descendant. How limited edition were they?

My book Figurenude has only 998 left of the 1023.

My editions are too small to bother with a database.

I think there is an easier way of doing this.

When you produce a limited edition from a roll, print a contact sheet of the roll, mark which images have limited editions completed, and keep that with the negatives. When you produce a limited edition, print them all at once, number the prints and store them, when you sell the last print, the series is completed.

For digital images, simply add a note to the EXIF data that the limited edition is completed, when you make the prints.
