Want to Buy Lightweight rangefinder (Bessa R, CL, Canon, etc)

Hi all,

I posted a thread looking for a Bessa R back in 2021, but then moved on to other GAS pastures. Now I'm back to looking for a smaller ILC to complement my little fixed-lens rangefinder and bigger SLRs. Nearly all of the myriad LTM models are out for me, since they're too heavy or large for my purposes. And almost all of the more modern or M-mount models are out as well thanks to my puny wallet! So, if anyone has one of these:

Voigtlander Bessa R
Yasuhara T981
Leitz/Leica CL (preferably with a working meter, but try me)
Minolta CLE (this is the ideal but likely over my budget)
Any other suggestions that come in under 500g

I'm betting there won't be many out there, but it's worth a try!

Totally depends on the camera. Let's say "a bit less than the average eBay (over)price."

Hmm…well I guess everyone just loves theirs too much to part with them!

I’m also intrigued by a hinged-door lever-wind Canon rangefinder (L1-3, VL/VL2, VI-L, but not a P or 7, since I’ve tried and not enjoyed them). Perhaps someone’s willing to part with one of those?

I think you would had more luck looking for a particular model and stating a initial price. Little less than the average ebay price is not very encouraging . Bessa R where once a budget RF but alas no more.

If you are not in a hurry, I have a Leica CL. I would not be able to do anything for a couple days. If nothing else turns up and you are still interested let me know.

Definitely not in a rush. And as Marcelo said above, I doubt people will be banging down my door!

When I put it away the meter worked fine, with the conversion installed to use a modern voltage battery, I will check it over on Tuesday if you are interested.
