and get new battery connectors in your local electronics DIY shop or on Amazon.

I don't have a Gossen Luna Pro SBC but someone said that the meter can be taken apart quite easily with just 1 screw. If that the case I would get a new connector and solder the wires directly to the circuit board instead of splicing the wires.
