2000 are stated to have been made.

I wonder who bought those. I mean I know of people buying special edition cameras, but lightmeters?

There is no way I would buy a piece of jewelry disguised as a camera (or a light meter).

Only 2000 made! That makes it about as rare as a "limited edition" digital pigment print.

It looks as if it had been left in a small room full of heavy smokers for about a year.

Isn't everything on the bay "very rare" and if it doesn't work it must be "vintage"!

Gold has definitely lost its shine, down around 15% in a month and still falling. He can't be a futures trader, obviously...
This thing is only plated; if it were real 18k you'd be paying thousands for it and the weight ... .
I am not taken in by his florid spiel. Sounds just the type to make a deal that sounds too good to be true.

If Tony Montana was a photographer, this is the meter I imagine he'd use.

It needs a gold chain, not the cheap black nylon lanyard. Just the right amount of bling for a hairy chest.

Bling, n. Those shiny bits which the human magpie (homo ignoramus, v. vulgaris) uses to adorn it's person and decorate it's nest.
