For Sale: IR Converted Nikon D200 - conversion just completed by Life Pixel
This is a Mint Nikon D200 with only 5000 shutter clicks - Like new in every way
It just got back from being converted to IR - Standard IR - by the industry leader in doing these conversions: LIFE PIXEL.
The D200 includes: Body Cap; Manual; Nikon D200 Strap; Battery and Charger.
There has been a protector over the LCD since day 1: the supplied Nikon plastic snap-on version and a brand new GGS glass protector that I just purchased and installed.
As part of their conversion service, Life Pixel will include the calibration of one Nikon lens with each Nikon camera you send them
I did some research on Bjorn Rorslett's website and learned that this lens is a particularly good IR performer:
Zoom-Nikkor 35-70 mm f/3.5 (72 mm Filter Size) [AI]
IR Rating: 4.5 out of 5 on D200 modified
IR: The 35-70 behaved in an exemplary fashion when I tested it for IR.
No hot spots or other IR nasties.
Included with the lens: Front and Rear Nikon caps; Lens Hood in original box
Finally, I picked up an RRS 'L' bracket that you can see attached to the camera in the pictures.
So basically the ultimate Nikon IR Rig - ready to go!
I am selling to fund some other recent purchases and would like to recoup most of my costs:
D200: $500
Life Pixel Conversion: $250 (+ $30 return shipping)
Nikon 35-70 lens ( already calibrated for IR focus on this camera ): $160
RRS 'L' Bracket: $65
Total: $975 will include conus shipping + paypal
( You save the cost of shipping to Life Pixel + their $30 return shipping fee + any other costs I incurred getting items shipped to me + I'm paying the shipping to get it all to you. )
Will sell Camera or Lens separately if that is your preference
