A friend has several enlargers to dispose of. He is not a member of this forum but asked me to spread the word. Please *email me* if you're interested and I'll pass your contact information along to him. The descriptions below are all I know, I can't answer any questions about them, but my friend can.

Don't let these go to the dump!

1. Elwood 5x7, claimed to be complete including lensboards and a lens

2. Omega D2, accompanying accessories unstated

3. Beseler M45, accompanying accessories unstated

4. Beseler 23C, accompanying accessories unstated

seems like all the great enlargers for free are in Massachusetts... so close but so far away

Would love that Elwood... Totally in the wrong state, though.

Wow. I'm meeting up with a friend from Boston this weekend; too bad he's flying.

Maryland is not that far! When I got my Beseler 45MXII (which is why I'm not taking this one) some years ago I drove down to near Baltimore, loaded it into the car (some disassembly required), and drove back. I left home around 5am and arrived back at 8pm. Piece of cake!

Too bad we don't set up some sort of relay net to get these things from point A to point B

Dibs on the M45. Email sent.

The southern end of my commutation route is a bit north of NYC, in case a relay is possible.

Charley

Ping stoneNYC - He needs to get a 5x4 enlarger so that he can start participating in a few more print exchanges

anyone wanna relay that 5x7?

I can make it up to SC if possible. Live in Florida but I'd drive that far for a free one

Can he hold the Elwood until March? I will be in for the Masters Indoor track meet and have room to haul it back west.

To me, an enlarger is like a German Shepherd puppy, it's hard not to bring it home when I find one in need. I'm glad he didn't post pictures.
