LF in India?

We have all seen the odd size LF cameras turning up on ebay and most of us know of the Rajah/Deardorff copies in standard sizes.

I'm intrigued to know what the current state of LF photography is in India. Someone told me awhile back that there are portrait shooters on the streets using these big cameras, it sounds fascinating.

I suspect the best person to ask about this might be the one who is trading on ebay as lexim2k. At least he seems to find an astonishing number of very nice LF cameras in India!
