In addition I want 1/2 lb of fresh hens teeth and some chicken lips.

I'd call this a cocking lever. Also need the shoulder screw for it.

Failing that, the actual dimensions would be extremely helpful.

I've seen a picture, looks like something bigfoot would wear around his neck on a gold chain.

The Flash Supermatic on the Medalist is cocked with a revolving disc and the lever thingy pivots
to charge the shutter.When it's charged, the speeds seem pretty good..
Just bought the camera as non working(it's not.Truth in advertising?) Looked at the camera & couldn't
see a way for it to be cocked until I had it apart and had the service manual in front of me.
BTW the cocking mechanism was very smooth.
