I've been developing the same film/developer combination for a while now and I'm very satisfied with the results. The important thing is that the negatives are detailed and (at least to me) appear to be well developed.

After scanning however, I often find that the appearance I like best is with the midtones levels adjusted, between 0.9 and 0.7.
Does this say anything about the development itself (overdeveloped ?) or is it like printing a bit darker (which I also tend to do, expose a bit longer at Filter 0 using split grade printing)

I'm sure others are more expert than I, but I'm going to guess that it mostly says something about the dynamic range of your scanner vs analog photographic materials.

about the dynamic range of your scanner
Not to mention the display gamut of your monitor and whether you've got it calibrated, the ambient room lighting when viewing reflective print vs. emissive monitor, etc...
