Ok will post links if thats ok
I can use links from Photrio sponsors, if that makes things easier.
When we respond in a public thread about site policies, unless we indicate otherwise, we are speaking to the community as whole, as well as to the poster themselves.Informative links to retail or manufacturer sources are fine. If you have a business selling stuff, we require you first to become a paid subscriber or, ideally, an advertiser before you "hawk your wares".
A small number of links please - not a huge list.
You surprise me every time.
No, I have nothing to sell. I am looking for straps and am frustrated by the manufacturer of both cameras and straps.
I'm very hesitant to trust the Hasselblad strap clips. I wouldn't call it a fool-proof design. The Rollei clips are better, in my opinion. But I'd prefer a lug that a keyring can be laced through. I couldn't care less about scratches but definitely don't want the camera falling to the ground.
*sigh*
Here we go:
Leica Carrying Strap with LEICA Imprinted in Silver, .6 in. Wide, Black
Leica .6" Black, Imprinted Silver "Leica" Strapwww.keh.com Thats what I need. With the plastic wrap around ends.
That has metal thingies to screw into a camera's body.Leica Silicone Neck Strap with Strap Release Pin for Leica T, Orange/Red (18814)
Leica .75" Wide Orange Silicone Neck Strap With Strap Release Pin (Leica T) 18814www.keh.com
Silver rings which scratch one's camera body unless using the leather/felt thingies.
I have only used the Hasselblad strap clips on my Hasselelblds and I have never had a problem with them.
Yeah, thanks. But I wanted to understand the terminology, not looking for manufacturers now.

Cameras without lugs/poles that were meant to use the lugs on the leather half case which is now lost or broken... For those, you have to use the case or hang it on the tripod mount.
