I am selling a rare Leotax S Leica thread mount compatible rangefinder camera body. This was an early Leotax model which had the innovative feature of both X and B flash sync. Only a few hundred of these cameras were made and they are very rare. The serial number is 28269.
This camera had a full CLA about three years ago by a leading repair experts for vintage Leica (and similar) cameras (DAG Camera). The camera is film tested and it works well. The shutter curtains were replaced in the CLA and are like new.
The cosmetic condition is very good, although the (original) leatherette is starting to get bumpy, particularly on the rear. This leather problem seems to common to other Leotax S models. The leather is fully intact however.
