Christmas is over, and I need to re-capitalize the Model A project. I have several lenses I've harvested from the Lens Bunker for that purpose.
This is the earliest version of the venerable Wollensak Series 1 f6.8 lens. This is a 16" lens.
The shutter is NON working, but the aperture is intact and works fine, so it's basically a barrel lens.
These larger sizes of this lens have a fine not perfectly sharp look to them wide open and then become marvelously sharp stopped down. This is 8 elements in 4 groups, rather a poor man's Cooke Series XV if you will. Totally uncoated of course.
They were convertible like the Cooke too, and the Wolly catalogs will enlighten you as to what the other focal lengths are. 26" and 34" would be a fair guess. Look it up. I'll require $265 for this one.
