I received my copy of LWE yesterday and enjoyed watching a video of John Sexton's darkroom.

So that started me thinking, why couldn't we do the same thing on APUG? Small digicams can make short movies so APUGers could do videos of their darkroom.

Looks like there will be an on going series in LWE, it will be interesting to see who's darkroom they spot light in future issues. I wouldn't mind seeing Gordon Hutchins new darkroom on video.

Christopher Burkett would also be an interesting view, IMO.

Just one more thing, judging by the opening preview of the Sexton video, I wouldn't be surprised if perhaps Joe Lipka's darkroom gets included as there was brief snippet of someone coating palladium on a sheet of paper.

I demonstrate my entire digital negative/coating/printing process on my web site, but I have not made the LWE darkroom tour yet.

Maybe one day, when Brooks visits North Carolina...

That is Kim Weston (Edward Weston's Grandson) on Lenswork Extended, coating the platinum paper.

Actually, it's Ryuijie in his darkroom. We'll have his darkroom tour in a future issue of LXT. The next issue (due out in November) will feature a tour of Adam Jahiel's darkroom and studio in Story, Wyoming.

Hi Brooks,
Just to congratulate you on such a consistently excellent product.
I tell all my friends that if I had to ditch all the publications I receive except one, I would keep lenswork (& LWX of course)
