Did anybody here tried to transplant Xenon 2/50 lens from Retina reflex to mirrorless camera?
You would probably be better off adapting the Schneider Xenon 50mm f/1.9 of the later Reflex S, III and IV since it is a discrete lens unit and fully interchangeable rather than the one in the original Retina Reflex, which is buried inside of a compur shutter.
The 50mm 1.9 is a DKL mount lens and adapters are available.
Why would you want to do that?
Is that what this bloke at Flickr has done? He seems to have mounted the lens in a helical-focusing component. If you click through to flickr and click on 'back to album' at the top left, there's another view of it in the album.
Interestingly that he was not able to use existing helicoid for focusing?
