Lens Threads sizes.

Hi! Would anyone know the accessory lens threads for the following Enlarging lenses? 50 mm Schneider Componon, 90 mm APO Rodenstock Ronagon N, 180 mm Schneider Componon and a 240 mm Schneider Componon Thank you!

If you mean the front lens thread (not the lens board thread) then check out this website. A lot of lenses are listed.

I've ordered a brass reverse adapter for a 50mm componon-S here. The listed size was correct and the ring was of good quality.

I checked out the site. It only listed thread sizes for the one 50 mm lens I have. Nothing for the other four lenses. Do you have another site that might have that information?

No, sorry. Only the site I listed came to mind when I saw your post. You could try contacting José Meneses of Customphototools. He might have the info you're looking for. Somehow I doubt that he owns all the enlarger lenses that he lists for the reverse adapters. So maybe he has some documentation that lists the front thread of the various lenses.

Componon 50mm: M29.5 x 0.4
Componon 180mm: M58 x 0.75
Componon 240mm: M67 x 0.75

According to this document, Rodenstock seems to have standardized to a filter thread of M40.5 x 0.5 for almost all of its enlarger lenses. So there's a good chance that the Apo Rodagon N 90mm has that as well.

Six of the seven Apo Rodagon N lenses have 40.5 x 0.5 accessory threads (the 150mm has 67mm threads).

The full series consists of 45mm, 50mm, 75mm, 80mm, 90mm, 105mm, and 150mm. PDFs of several different versions of Rodenstock brochures suggest that not all focal lengths may have been in production at the same time, and some (45mm, 75mm, and 150mm especially, 90mm to a lesser extent) seem quite rare. In years of watching eBay I've only seen two 45mm, one 75mm, and maybe half a dozen 150mm. The 90 seems a bit more common than the 150, but not much - there have been a couple recently but none for a long time before that.

I have not found any Rodenstock document on that 90mm lens, so at first I even thought it did not exist at all...

I can confirm that the Rodenstock Apo Rodagon f4 90mm has a 40.5mm filter thread. I just checked mine...

Steve has good info here. The Apo 90 N is pretty rare, though I do have one. There's one on Ebay now for $420 or so which is a steal, I paid more for mine. Easily the best lens in that length, IMNSHO. I have seen 3 of the 45N, I have one (Steve has one), not sure who has the third. Definitely rare. I have seen a couple 75Ns, I passed on one since I had the 90 and don't shoot much 6x6. Of the N series, the 50N and 80N are common, the others less so. The 45, 75, 90 were the final series of these lenses, and not made for long, only a couple years probably. The 75 and 90 replaced the 80 in the lineup, and the 45 replaced the 50 (and to some extent the 50G also). The 105 and 150 were not replaced in the lineup by anything better.
