OK Thanks for all the feedback guys. I've decided it's probably best not to attempt this with the mamiya rz67 , mainly due to not being able to source a wide enough lens....plus in terms of angling below the subject...so heavy!! i've dedcided to go with a 35mm cam with a few wide lenses and work it that way.

Besides if you got that close to the high heels you might get kicked in the face since the woman might think that you want an up under the dress photograph. Be safe and be wise.

If you have a 24mm on your 35mm kit it may do the trick.

Sorry you are looking to emulate this. It has a very contrived look. I don’t think there is a medium format lens wide enough to do that.

Dont have an example at hand since this looks arent my cup of tea. Olympus OM have a similar distortion at close up with f22.

Also, what would be wide enough for you on MF? Fish eye exist and will surely give a distorted view. Example Zodiac 3 on either Kiev88 or Pentacon mount. Not sure how easy would be to do the shot but certainly possible.

the pentax 67 fisheye then just do a little correction. i think its 35mm. or theres a 43mm as well less distortion but about 20mm 35mm equivalent
