I am dismantling a Yashica D TLR to remove a jammed self timer. I have reached the stage where I need to remove the front and rear lens cells from the shutter. Both are firmly stuck. Would it be a good idea to use a mole wrench to improve leverage?

thanks!

Just 2 weeks ago I performed the same repair on a Mat LM--self timer jam. I used a spanner wrench to get the lenses out. And I too, had the dickens of a time getting the front lens bowl off. In the end I used a wide flat lamp cord for my "jar opener" and just used brute force till it finally came loose. Once you put yourself in the frame of mind that you might destroy it if you do, it already IS worthless if you don't. Strictly speaking, the rear lens cell doesn't need to come out if you're just trying to get the self-timer mechanism out.
