I was rummaging through the files of KEH, B&H and Adorama, looking for another lens for my Nikkormat FTN. It came with the 55mm micro, but I was looking for something with a little more expansive viewpoint. Unfortunately, I am a little bit cash-strapped at the moment (need to buy a new computer), so the idea of a new(old) lens was academic. Until I remembered the other lens that came with the Nikkormat.

It's a Nikkor 28mm f/3.5, a smidgen slow, but just fine and dandy for me, since I now have the wider view, and I didn't have to lay out any cash. It's minus the rabbit ears, but the meter on the camera is kaput, so the missing coupling is of no consequence.

Every now and again... I win one!

Who was it said even a blind hog can find an acorn, every now and again?

With best regards.

Stephen

PS: Was it Mick Jagger who said you can't always get what you want, but sometimes you find you get what you need?
