I have, to me, a new camera: Kowa Super 66. I took off the lens and must have touched something because the shutter fired. How can I re-cock the shutter to mount the lens? Or is there a better method, short of sending it to California and Ross Yerkes? Thanks!

If I remember (I sold my Kowas years ago), you can rotate the two pins on the rear of the lens by hand and cock the shutter.

The owners manual is available from Butkus.com . You need to recock the shutter and make sure the pins on the rear of the lens are in the proper position.

Thank you. I have successfully re-cocked the shutter and mounted the lens. Now to photography.....
