Being new to MF(yashica 635) I needed an 80mm lens for my Beseler 67. I bought a Schneider-Kreuznach 80mm 56. on Ebay. When it arrived I was surprised to find that the mounting thread is 25mm rather than the more common 39mm. The diameter of the lens body is only 35mm.
Since I own a machine shop I can easily make a lens board with the smaller hole but I wonder if there's any reason other than the smaller size that this lens won't work in this application.
thanks,

Larry

Nope. You're covered with a new board. I think they make adaptors, but, why bother. Now, about that new lens board I need for my Zone VI...........(VBG)

Thanks for the help John.
I made the board this afternoon. I still need to paint it flat black and it'll look like it came from the factory.
