I have a Lumix G100 that came with the M43 12-32 pancake lens. I use it primarily for making short videos and such for posting to YT.

The other day I ended up dropping the camera from a height of about 2 feet onto a hard floor. It must have landed on the lens, as it is now cockeyed and stuck at the focal length of 32mm. It will still focus and take shots, but I can't zoom it at all.

I'm not sure where this could get repaired, or whether it be worth it. Looking around, it appears a new lens will run roughly $150 - $180. Before grabbing one, is there any other M43 lens I should be looking at? I didn't mind this lens at all, but the build quality isn't that great as a relatively short fall sort of ended it's life.

The Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 lens is one that appeals to me, but it is significantly more expensive, and probably larger, and I would want to investigate how the image stabilization interfaces with the camera.

As I don't really use this camera for taking stills, and I'm already satisfied with the video quality from this lens, probably not going to be looking at anything more expensive.

Do you need the wide end to be 12mm? You can always get the slightly bigger, but still pretty light Panasonic 14-42 for under 100 dollars
