There have been instances in the past where 3rd party lenses are not always compatible with some cameras, in particular I have seen Sigma and Nikon Digital occasionally have problems. I am considering buying a Nikon D7200 to run alongside my D90 but have held off until I can resolve this question. The lens I am concerned with is my 17-70 F2.8/4 with image stabilising (24.5 to 105mm full frame equivalent) and is a handy walk-a-bout lens which gives excellent quality when used with the D90. Has anyone tried this combination?

Nope! No camera shops of any worth for about 20+ miles and then I'd careful what they suggest..

I have spoken to Sigma UK and they cannot be certain either!
