Many good zoom lenses came with a macro function in them. Some very good Sigma ones did as well with a very large price tag.
What I am curious on is, this,
Why is it that in SOME lenses in the 100-300 and 75-220 mm range,, the macro function doesn't create as much magnification in the viewfinder as the same lens, zoomed out to the same max length does when it has a diopter installed on it?
