Found a bargain lens Schneider 150mm Symar-S in a SyncroCompur shutter and need a lensboard for my ancient Calumet Monorail.

I measured the threaded part of the lens to about 40mm ~ 41mm. I've seen lensboards for sale with 39mm to 42mm holes but no physical dimensions of the board.

Are the lens board sizes standard and are the hole sizes standard?
Can I use Omega, Toyo, or other lensboards?
are there any resources for getting their dimensions?
Would it be easier to make one out of wood than to hunt for my specific needs.

Be aware that the thread size of the shutter may not be what will determine the drilled hole in the lensboard. You need to look at the retaining ring and determine if it has a collar that should extend into the lensboard hole. In your case I wonder if that wouldn't indicate a 42 mm hole.

Eric,

I have the same combo you are talking about, it should require a 42mm hole to accomidate the retaining ring.

By the way, I am shipping your Viewing Screen today and you should have very soon.

Thanks
