Is there an adaptor to allow lenses on Technika boards to be used on an Arca -Swiss F (field).
I was about to write back to say yes: I have two home-made ones, and there is one made by Arca as well. But then I noticed the word 'field' in your post: you mean you have the model with the 4x5 rear standard, tapered bellows and a 6x9 size (110mm) front standard?
I've never seen a Technika to Arca 6x9 board adapter, but I think one is feasible. You couldn't, I think, do it on a recessed Arca board. The one Arca makes for the 4x5 size (171mm) boards (I don't know if they are doing one for the 141mm size yet) is on a recessed board, as is the one they make to use the 6x9 boards on a 4x5 standard, which I find incredibly useful. On a flat 6x9 size board, it looks just do-able to me, but:
1) if you make a hole right through the adapter for the round part at the back of the Technika board, the adapter will end up being more hole than board and may not be very strong - unless you make it from stainless steel instead of aluminium, of course - so you might want to make a recess for the round part of the board, but a slightly smaller hole, depending on the size of the rear elements of the lenses you want to use on it;
2) to leave any room at the top of the adapter you might have to make it so that the Technika board fits with its lens slightly below the centre of the Arca board - not a big problem as you can always use a little front rise (and the adapter could be used either way up of course, with rise or fall as appropriate);
3) there won't be much room around the edges for catches to hold the Technika board on, so you may have to be limited to something as unsophisticated as a thumb-screw rather than a sliding or spring catch.
Meanwhile, I'm thinking of making a Century Graphic to Arca 6x9, and a Century to my-nameless-wooden-5x7 adapter. That's not going to be especially easy either, though not for the same reasons.
