After hunting around on the net and not finding what I was lookoing for, I thought this would be the place to ask.
I am looking for an adapter to mount Pentax K-mount lenses, 35mm and 6X7 to a Nikon, film and digital body. Is there such an animal out there?

I think they might be available through some of the Russian camera sites. Check RuGift and Arax.

Another place would be Fotodiox.com - they've got some really off-the-wall adapters.

For the Pentax 6x7, Pentax makes (made) adapters to both K and 42mm screw mount bodies. Also, iirc, K to screw. And there are screw mount to Nikon adapters readilly available.

Caveat Emptor. Your K mount lenses may not provide sufficient coverage when jumping up in format size. Just a word to the wise.

Chris, I didn't say anything about going up in format size??? Quite the opposite (6X7 to 35mm)

Didn't find what I needed at any of those sites guys but thanks for trying.

I realize this is a film camera site but I was actually looking to use these lenses on a Nikon digital. But now I see Pentax has come out with a very decent one (K-20) that does accept all my old Pentax K-mount lenses, so I will stick with Pentax if I decide to add a digital camera to my arsenal.
