Does anyone have any experience with the 35mm Leningrad 'motorized' (windup) camera?
It's a little late to ask since a case of GAS has one on it's way to me from the Ukraine but as I'm waiting for it to arrive I was hoping to get a little feedback from people 'in the know'.

Thanks in advance,

Ken

I got one with a box of other stuff. Nicer than the FEDs and Zorkis I have handled, but alas, something had sprung in the spring motor so it went into the "repair this someday" box and I haven't progressed that far to get to it.

The parallax compensation and viewfinder in general is quite intriguing.

I don't know if Google translate is going to work well on this page with reviews on this camera.

I could read it in Russain without translation. Two things: rangefinder goes off alignment after some time. If camera is dropped, the non-metal part in VF is often broken after it and to get it fix, you'll need to vandalize another camera. No spares are available.

Some CLA illustrated. In German.
