DESCRIPTION: Leicaflex SL Camera With Summicron-R 50mm f2 Lens. Also comes with Series VI filter retaining ring & braided leather strap. No front or rear lens cap included. Camera Serial # 1195392. Lens serial # 1999688. Battery not included. As shown.
CONDITION: Camera is in very nice condition overall with light finish wear. Light seals appear fine. Film advance works fine, counter works fine, shutter fires at all speeds and sounds accurate. The viewfinder has a darkened cloudy area on each side of the screen, but it really doesn‘t hinder focusing at all. Might be removable dust or something. Regarding the meter…I put a battery in the camera and when I pressed the black button on the side of the viewfinder, a needle shot all the way down to the bottom mark in the viewfinder. But after I let go of the button, the needle shoots back up to the top and out of sight. Changes in shutter speed etc. didn’t seem to make the needle appear near the match needle. So, I don’t really know if the meter is working properly or not. The lens body has very minor finish wear, smooth focus, scratch free glass, clean blades. Minor dust inside.
