Leicaflex SL (black)

on a EUR price of 500, what is the final price "on your doorstep"?

the barging level body is $231, I expect a camera graded by the seller as excellent will run another $50 to $75. A lens will be expensive, there is a 35mm F2 for sale also as KEH, it is over $700 U.S. A 75 to 200 3 cam is $199. A 1 cam will be less, but the 3 cam will have better coating. On Ebay SLs with inoperative meters are running $169 + shipping.

No I was talking about EUR to US$ conversation, shipping and import duty?
If would buy that Leicaflex SL + Lens from Leica Vienna for 500 EUR, how much (approx.) would be the U.S.$ amount for you to have it on your doorstep?

That would be $579 + 15% = $666, + shipping with carrier that will include the tariff and the paperwork , not sure. Considering the grief factor I will stick with U.S based sellers.

Just the extra hassle of dealing the shipping, must be additional paperwork. What if tariffs change, go up in route and I need to pay additional fee before I get my order. Too many unknowns.

How likely is it that your government is going to increase tariffs on pre owned 35mm cameras?

Nobody interested in a first-hand Leicaflex review?

UPDATE

The camera is still waiting for its inauguration. TBH I prefer the R series. The SL feels robust and yet very generic. Right now, the 28-70 Vario Elmar lives on it.

BTW I noticed I made a typo in one of my previous posts. The body was 150 EUR, not 350.

On Ebay, there is a SL with 50mm Summicron-R (1st gen) for 400 EUR...just saying....at the cost of an Oberwerth bag its a nice entry into the world of Leica...and with that lens, iconic looks are guaranteed, and the body is said to be more reliable than the later R models...
