A Visoflex IIa (OTYDO) + OTXBO Viewfinder, in boxes, in near mint condition.
Please note that this is the fairly rare IIa, not the much more commonly found II. The IIa was a transitional model offering the instant return mirror operation of the later Visoflex III. In the original II model you needed to press down a lever to manually return the mirror for reflex viewing. The other mode (selected by turning the round knob on the side) is to lock the mirror up for vibration-free macro photography. You can attach a standard cable release to the threaded receiver on the front.
Also, be aware that this is a screwmount reflex body for attachment to Barnack bodies, not M cameras. (They were produced in both styles). Of course the front is the bayonet mount to which you can attach the OUBIO/16466 adapter (for Telyt and some other lenses) or the OTZFO, etc. (see other items for sale). You first screw the housing onto the camera body and then slide the viewfinder into position.
This unit is in perfect working order and is in superb cosmetic condition as well. When it came to me it had a common issue found in lots of Visoflex housings: some of the originally applied lubricant for the mirror mechanism had migrated onto the underside of the ground glass, really messing up the view. Rather than attempting to clean it off I opted for installing a completely new replacement ground glass piece. (not as easy an operation as one might think, btw).
Supplied with both front and rear caps. Also includes the all-important little black extender piece for the trigger arm, necessary for use with the LTM cameras' release buttons!
And also includes an instruction sheet (actually for the II but mostly still applicable) - in German.
The viewfinder is also in great shape, with just a touch of wear around the rubber eye piece. I much preferred this unit to the later Visoflex III type since this one has the adjustable, 4x focusing eyepiece.

OTVXO/16461 Vertical Viewfinder
This is a simple, reversed-image, chimney type viewfinder with adjustable 5x magnifier. It comes in very handy when using the Visoflex/camera in a low position, when using the OTXBO would be difficult!
In very good condition, with a couple of spots where it appears a little bit of touch-up was done to the black crackle paint. This unit works fine but there is a small area in one corner of the bottom glass that has a crack (see photo).
No box for this piece.
