selling this great little lens in addition my 90mm f/2 Summi. This lens is in great condition, and is super sharp! EASILY the sharpest 50mm lens I've ever used. Just like the 90mm I'm selling, I was looking to adapt this to an F-mount(Nikon) to use on my F100. Right now my focus is 8x10, and I also have classes to pay for in addition. Both are expensive money-drainers .

here's a few details:

1. there is a chunk of *something* inside the lens. not sure if its a paint fleck, or "something", but it hasn't affected the pictures I've take so far.

2. There is some wear on the outside of the barrel, but I've just considered this "battle wear", and it doesn't affect the functionality of the lens whatsoever.

3. Outer elements are nice and clean(maybe a cleaning mark or two on the *outer* edges. I haven't cleaned it since I bought it. As before, this hasn't affected my film in any way.

I will also consider trades for 8x10 film(Efke 100 preferred), or lenses for 8x10. I'm looking for a wide(r) angle, like a 10" or 8.25". has to cover 8x10, preferably with some movements.

R-mount(I used it on an R4s)

you can also use this on a nikon or canon(eos) mount slr camera via an adapter(leitax or other ones on ebay) that allows you to change the mount for the camera.

I know there is a mount adapterfor Canon EOS use (check ebay for an adapter or a Google search)........I had a 50 mm f/2 Summicron on an R4s as well...very nice.........long gone now....

I currently don't have any images that I can show that I shot with the lens. 1: because I purchased it recently enough to only shoot about 3 rolls through it, and 2: I don't have a scanner to scan the film I did shoot through it.

from the prints I had made at Costco on the test rolls(only ones I was able to shoot), the negs and the prints were nice and sharp. But the quality of the print itself was less than I expected. This lens however is one of the fave's for people to use on their digital cameras after conversion.

the only way that this could be used on a pentax would be through an adapter.

shipping to Italy would be around $45(but you would pay 1/2 of that, 50/50 on shipping per my deal).

I haven't noticed the speck noted in the lens to affect any of the prints I've had made.

but if you're looking for a *perfect* one, I'd keep looking. This lens is a great performer, but not perfect.
