Sold Leica Summicron DR 50mm f/2 with Goggles and Case - Exc++ - $1150USD

Sold: Leica 50mm f/2.0 Summicron Dual Range (DR). The lens comes with goggles, carrying and storage case. Leitz uv filter and front Leica lens cap. Note: the leather case has a metal rear lens cap mounted to the lid of the carrying and storage case as shown in the photos. The lens and accessories are in Exc.++ condition. That is how it was described in September 2020 when I purchased it from Tamarkin Leica in Chicago (bill of sale available), and that hasn’t changed during my period of ownership and use. The lens was completely serviced by Tamarkin prior to the sale to me. It was manufactured in 1968 and only 1000 were made that year. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to pose them. This is a beautiful lens and I have enjoyed its ownership and use, but advancing years and health issues motivate me to think about downsizing and ‘estate management’ before becoming fertilizer.
