I went outside earlier today with my Leica R6.2 to go take some photos for a friend. It was pretty sunny out, and I was focused on my friend with the mountains far off in the background. I wanted to shoot wide open so I set my aperture to f/2 and turned on the spot meter. No matter what it kept saying to overexpose until my shutter went all the way to bulb. Anyways, once I got home I focused on something inside and followed the meter and it showed that I was getting the correct exposure inside. I'm confused about why when I was outdoors no matter what the camera still wouldn't show me the right exposure but once I tried indoors it did?
