Wrong. This hood fits the 5cm 50mm collapsible lenses with the newer body, the body that accepts 39mm filters. These include the later f/3.5 ltm, the 3.5 M, the 2.8 ltm (uncommon), and the 2.8 M. You can use other hoods on the 50s, such as the 12585, but this ITOOY shields the front element more effectively.
