Leica glow in the first picture?
I'm pretty happy with the below image.
Lol.
I actually used a DR Summicron. I was surprised by the lack of ghosting.
After months and months on end of contemplation I finally went ahead and bought a Leica MP in black paint.
I got it used from Map Camera's store in Shinjuku, it's in perfect condition and a real joy to use.
Now I just need to get my M2 serviced.

Mick Jagger is right there with you.
My favorite combo, MP and DR. Some say the DR lacks the contrast of modern lens and I reply...good! It handles direct light very well imo.
I’ll be Bach…
I like the vintage Rigid on the MD262 since it makes much more pleasing images, sharp but not aggressively so. The Leica look…
Black paint is beautiful…!
I had a perfect copy of the Type 2 Summicron, which I stupidly sold during a bout of downsizing. But I kept my dad's Dual-Range, and prefer to use it to a more recent Type 4 Summicron. The latter is lighter weight, so easier if you travel. I have just started to experiment with a Canon 50mm ƒ/1.8 LTM lens (the mid-1960s black and chrome body), and it produces negatives that look a lot like the Type 2 Summicron. Good resolution, maybe a bit of glow, just plain pleasing. The Canon is a 6-element design.
that's an imposter..... where do you load the film on that thing ?
