During WWII, E. Leitz in Wetzlar, Germany manufactured very few (perhaps fewer than 300) Leica Mooly Motors in black finish for wartime IIIc Leicas.
Very few black Mooly C Motors have survived, and this example is in remarkable condition.
The spring drive is strong and this Mooly has been tested and is working.
