I see that M8 price is dropping, slowly - but going down in normal area.

My first question is about frame lines: with 40mm I will get 50mm lines, but will it be 50mm frame line "full frame", or 50mm with crop? How this works with M8?

Second question - is it worth it to buy M8 in 2019, or better some mirrorless is better choice, if I want to be in the <1000€ range? High resolution is not my main goal, more enjoyment of shooting.

With all respect to OP and phortio, why not Google and learn? Hundreds of threads, dozens of reviews including video.

M8 has sensor crop factor 1.33. Frames are showing already with crop factor.
40 Cron has better alternative, Rokkor 40 CLE.
Lens needs one mm filing of the frame switching toogh.
Once it is done it will bring 35mm frames. But they are cluttered in VF. 28mm lens will works better, it is less cluttered in vf.
Before buying lens, check if IR cut filter is available.
I had m8 couple of years ago. Awesome, totally different from regulars camera.
If LCD goes, Leica has no replacement.
Shutter is loud. OEM batteries are next to 200 usd.

Thanks Kostya .
I did google it, but somehow those frame lines info were not so easy to find - does it show with or without crop factor. I already have 40mm summicron, that I purchased with CL. Most of the reviews that I have read are not recent, I wanted opinions from 2019. Ideally I would like M9, but this is way >1k€.
