If anyone wants to move inventory, they have to set the price at what the market will bear. It’s not like M6’s are essential- if one doesn’t like the price don’t buy it.
That's really what it comes down to. If they can find a buyer for that price, that's what that price is. No matter what 'we' think about it.
I remember NOT buying Fuji GF670s when they were new in box for under $1K. Wide version or regular. Or Zeiss Ikon ZM, same condition, for $700.
Should we also complain about those cameras at their current prices? Have you seen how much Xpans are worth now? etc.
It seems the only cameras now that are, how shall I say this, decently priced i.e. they haven't become a thing yet, are 35mm slrs like the Nikon F4. Even the FM3a now has skyrocketed.
