Hi,
Some time ago my shutter speed dial got jammed. It was repaired by my trusted service man. But it occured that a small metal part which is responsible for keeping the dial in place was damaged. Leica works fine but the shutter speed dial can be changed without noticable "click" in between the times. I use it like for 2 years but it's pretty unreliable and instead of focusing on pictures I have to keep an eye whenever I change time.. I try to find someone with broken leica who can have that kind of part. Any ideas where to look for apart from official Leica service and ebay?

Can you try 3D printing ?

Or some improvisation - it looks like relatively simple part.

DAG camera repair here in the US is my first thought -- he has a very large stock of spare parts, much more than his web site lists so contact him directly.

Not to case dispersions on your local camera repair guy, but if the jam managed to damage this relatively simple piece I would worry what else was damaged. A full service might not be a bad idea. In the long run it could save you money,

+1 on contacting DAG, I found him very easy to deal with when I needed an external part.

My local guy manages to repair the part - this was aroud two years ago and since then Im using the camera without any issues. Yet it's just not really comfortable and finally I want to make it righr.

Thanks for info about DAG camera. I'll contact them for sure.
