I take entirely the other view. There have been many times when I've wanted to buy something, like film, that turned out to have been sold five minutes after the ad was posted, so I could have had some idea of the general level of interest if someone or several persons had simply put up a "PM sent." Why does this simple phrase expressing interest bother you? I mean, two words ain't much...
