I'm reluctantly selling my leica m4. It's a beautiful camera, and it was just CLA'd two months ago by youxin ye so it's in perfect working order (that also means that it's still under warranty). He also changed the strap locks for stainless steel ones so you will never have to worry about them braking!
This camera used to belong to the famous danish photographer Jan Grarup who has won the world press photo several times. This was his back up camera (his main camera were to m6 bodies). I have no proof that it was his though other than the fact that I bought it from him in person!
I am the third owner of this camera. I've used it quite a bit (and so did Jan), and it's in perfect working order.
Cosmetically it's a user, which is good because these cameras were meant to be used!
Only selling because leica glass is too expensive for me, plus the fact that although for me this is probably the best handling camera I've used (and I've used a lot), it just feels right when you hold it in your hands, I do prefer slr's over rangefinders for most of my work.
Included with the camera is a leica meter R. It works great. Right now there's an alkaline 1.5 cell in it, as I ran out of the last of my mercury batteries.
I'm asking 700 euros for the set.
I'm also selling an original leitz 50mm ltm to M mount adaptor. The adaptor works great. I'm asking 50 euros for this, or 30 euros if bought with the camera.
I will only sell the adaptor when the camera has been sold.
I take paypal only. and ship worldwide.
Shipping costs depend where in the world you are.
For europe it will be 30 euros and a little more if it has to cross the atlantic.
