Leica M4 Chrome Rangefinder 35mm Film Camera.
Serial #1253941. Made in Germany 1970. Late "classic" chrome Leica M4 production. Has 35/50/90/135mm bright frames with parallax adjustment. Single stroke winding. Self-Timer.
Excellent working condition and excellent cosmetic condition. Shutter speeds (1 sec to 1/1000) appear accurate except maybe the 1" is slow (needs exercise!). Bright and accurate Rangefinder. Rangefinder was re-aligned for maintenance by Youxin Ye (great service!). A bit of dust in rangefinder but no effect on clear view. Bright viewfinder, with clear bright frames. Good Working frame counter. Good condition shutter curtains. Smooth and precise film advance. Clean film table. Clean inside as well.
I have run plenty of film through this camera and it operates perfectly. A fine German machine.
Use all Leica M-mount and (with adapter) M39 screw mount lenses, as well as M-mount and Screw-mount Voigtlander-Cosina, Canon-RF, Konica-RF, Zeiss and others.
Cosmetic flaws only: a fleck of black paint on the rear door, a tiny crease (1 mm?) in the side of bottom plate, and faint bright marks on bottom plate. Top plate clean. Leatherette Excellent. No visible tears. No DENTS. Original flash covers. SEE PHOTOS!
Comes with Leica leather case and body cap.
