When the speed dial is set to 1/1000 and then turned down to 1/15, a "click" sound will occur. If the click does not happen at 1/15, it will occur when adjusting to 1 second. If the film advance lever is operated before adjusting to 1 second, the sound will occur right after the lever is moved. If the speed dial is not set to 1/1000, this sound will not occur regardless of the adjustments made. anyone know why? It’s normal for m3?

Perhaps it's a mechanical noise that occurs when the high-speed gear switches to low-speed? The M3 is a tough camera so I've never noticed it, but I'd like to believe that it won't cause any malfunctions.
