Making a hard shift in gear, life, and well, a few things. So, up for grabs:

1. Leica M3 double stroke: CLA in 2023. Recovered and works beautifully. Body has some of the typical scuffs here and there, but over all a very nice model. Also included is a working Leica MR meter. Works great. Luigi / Leicatime premium leather case and strap also included. These are top of the line. Also has a quick load spool. Topping it all off is a lovely Oztno shutter release.
No, I do not want to sell any of the pieces individually. At least not yet.

2. Leica 35mm Summicron f/2 - 8 element lens. This is the Germany stamped version, for those that care about that. Glass is good and shoots well. Viewfinder has very minor haze but doesn't affect shooting at all. Really lovely little gem of a lens. I do NOT have a front cap for it, but will be packed with a Light Lens Lab UV filter on it and rear cap. Also included, but not pictured, is a Light Lens Lab metal lens hood.

What a beautiful M3! This was made around the transition when Leitz switched the shutter speeds to the newer geometric progression. My Dual-stroke was number 899xxx and had the newer speeds. Years ago, Leica in NJ converted mine to single stroke.

Thx! I've always enjoyed the double stroke mechanism. I just wish I could fall in love with the 35mm format. My background is in commercial photography, so large format just seems to be where I'm comfortable. Second time I've built this exact combo. Second time it just sits on the desk. Ugh!
