I am selling my beloved M2 because I have an M4 just CLA'd that I prefer. The camera is in exc condition with light to moderate signs of use, no dents or bad scratches, a few little dints on the edges. I just put a new cover on it so that looks great. The winder is silky smooth and the shutter is sooooooo quiet and smooth, it's very, very nice. Speeds accurate to my ear. This feels like it has just had a CLA but I don't know how long ago it had one, I've had it a few months now. One issue, and it's significant. While the viewfinder is clean and clear and easy to see, bright, nice framelines, etc., etc. if you take your eyes away from it and inspect the VF from a distance you can see little black stalagmites on the edges, it is some separation starting in the viewfinder and eventually needs to be addressed. As I said, you can absolutely not detect any problem with your eye to the VF, but this is slowly happening and I suspect it will take about 2-3 years for it to get to be an issue with viewing. I have priced this camera accordingly, a very good deal, IMO at $590 since it does work so smoothly and is a joy to use and hold. This price is only a little over what a parts camera would cost and this is not a parts camera. So, if you want a nice M2 in your hands by Tuesday, grab this one. Thanks, Bob in Michigan.
