I have too many Leica film Ms so selling this little beauty, a two-year-old M-A in black chrome. I've put maybe 25 rolls of film through it, so it's in great condition. The only marks on the camera are the areas near the lugs where the Harry Benz strap rubbed against the body. Includes the original box, paperwork, and packing materials. The strap is unused. I can send better photos if requested.

I will pay all PayPal fees and for shipping to US destinations. I ship only to PayPal approved addresses. I have multiple positive sales on Fred Miranda and eBay.

I always wondered what that black chrome really was, is it lik a gun, what they call bluing?

No, bluing is a chemical process that produces black iron oxide on steel and prevents further oxidation. Chroming (electro-chemical) actually deposits a coating of metal on the object.

Then, Leica must be using a kind of black metal.
I thought that chroming was done with Chromium and/or Nickel electrolyse plating.
My M3 shows copper where the Chrome wears off.

Your M3 is chrome over brass. The MA also has a brass top sheet, but the black wears off to expose silver chrome. It takes a lot of wear to expose brass.
